Saldilten is a road race organized by Botnan Idrettslag and Vemundvik Idrettslag in Namsos municipality, and it has now been held for 33 years. The race typically takes place on the second day of Pentecost in May, and runs along the beautiful Heimdalsbotnet and Løddingsvegen in Vemundvik. Saldilten has been designated a quality race by the Norwegian organization for endurance sports – Kondis, which means that the courses are officially measured.
